Adam and Eve : The First Sinners
“In the beginning God created the Heaven and The Earth.” – Genesis chapter 1 .1
There is nothing written in Genesis about how god created the Heaven and earth. And the earth was without form, and void. And then God created light and darkness. And that was the first day. sequentially that god created many things on earth like trees, animals, water, land etc. And also God created a beautiful garden on Earth. The garden is known as the Garden of Eden. It was a paradise full of animals, fruits and trees. And at the center of the garden God created a tree which is known as the tree of knowledge. According to some legend if anyone ate the fruit from that tree then he get a knowledge of good and evil.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth the earth.” – Genesis chapter 1 .26
So after that God created a first man known as Adam. God told Adam to look after all the trees in the garden and warned him, “You may eat fruits from any tree you like, but not from the Tree of Knowledge. If you do not obey, you shall die:” and then god sent him into the garden. After that to give company to Adam, God created a female from his ribs, and named her Eve. Both Adam and Eve lived naked in the Garden of Eden, as they had no sense….!
In the same garden, there lived a serpent. Few days later that serpent came with Eve and advised her that to eat the fruit from the tree of knowledge. And serpent inspired Eve by saying that she can get knowledge of Good and Evil and she could became a humble like God. Due to this advice and inspiration Eve was ready and ate the fruit from knowledge of tree. And also Eve suggested same thing to Adam. And Adam also ate the fruit from the knowledge of tree. And then the eye of them both were opens, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Next day, when God came to see Garden, Adam and Eve hid themselves from God, as now they had gained knowledge. But God captured them. God asked them “Did you eat the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge?” Then they both was admitted. They both told the whole story and also about serpent. And then God became angry. Adam and Eve are driven out of the Garden of Eden to live on Earth, as they disobeyed God and ate the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge. God punished them, saying, “You did not obey me. So now, you will have to leave this Garden. You will have to live on Earth. Adam will have to work hard to grow crops and create food, and Eve will have to suffer the pain of giving birth.”
