First Space 3D Printer Developed in China

3D printing is making an evolution in history of human being. 3D printing refers to various processes used to synthesize a three-dimensional object. 3D printing, successive layers of material are formed under computer control to create an object. These objects can be of almost any shape or geometry and are produced from a 3D model or other electronic data source.

And Today China created first space 3D printer. This Space 3D printer can help the country build a space station by 2020. After a big effort of the 3 companies we finally had a first space 3D printer. All credits goes to the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology and the Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilisation. These company spent 2 years of time to create this phenomenal master piece of engineering.

Duan Xuanming, director of the Research Center for Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Technology.

(The printer) has many unique functions such as the ability to upload under a variety of gravity environments, increased speed and vibration, We have made China’s first true 3D printing under microgravity a reality.

The printer can produce bigger space parts than the one sent to the International Space Station by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) late last month, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
